KRAV MAGA & KICKBOXING
SOUNDS COOL BUT WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF TRAINING?
Stress relief, management and inoculation - learning techniques are one thing but using them when your heart rate is up in challenging environments is another. This is what separates Krav Maga from the rest of the pack.
Training with Saint Fury you'll get all of these benefits:

- Improve fitness and general health
- Stress relief and conflict resolution skills
- Build mental resilience
- Learn effective self-defense techniques
- Grow in confidence
OK, SO WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED TO TRAIN?
Bring yourself and a willingness to train hard and enjoy! Comfortable clothes and trainers too. Other equipment will be provided but it's always a benefit to eventually have your own boxing gloves, shin guards and groin guard. Contact us for more information!

Further training will include your everyday items such as coats, bags and various footwear for realistic scenario training.
BUT I'M NOT VERY FIT, CAN I STILL TRAIN?
Of course! This is often said but it's understandable. A by-product of training is getting fitter and increased conditioning.
Everything goes at your pace and going slower is encouraged before building up speed and difficulty. Ego is taken out of the equation, and the aim is to build a better machine that's comfortable, having fun and growing in confidence.

Better to master the basics and to perfect techniques before ramping it up... don't worry, that will come!
EXCELLENT! SO I'M READY EVEN IF I'VE NEVER DONE ANY MARTIAL ARTS BEFORE?
Precisely. Whatever experience you have is welcomed, if none then just bring yourself!
WHAT KRAV MAGA TECHNIQUES WILL I LEARN?
Krav Maga is based on natural, instinctive reactions. You'll learn to punch, kick, use your bag or whatever is at hand i.e. to fight. Along with learning how to defend against punches and kicks too, chokes and grabs are the next step.
Further training involves weapons, multiple attackers and various scenario training. Kickboxing sessions will focus on the combative sporting aspects - striking, conditioning, defences and ring craft.
